「保持照明距離」的靈感來自觀察市場裡攤商的環境，在各種隨機的物件組合中找尋人與環境的生動感，延伸出「形式決定需求」的概念，轉化燈具設計與雕塑形式的平衡。藝術家透過各種生活物件嫁接的方式組構，他描述爲這是一種「克制」的過程，為了將過去習慣的創作技法轉爲樸素的手感經驗。這些燈具置放在市場裡的階梯平台，光線相互照映的氛圍使週遭空間也改變既有的屬性，燈具在平台置放的距離也暗喻疫情時代下人們相互間隔的社交距離。

 

"Keep the Lighting Distance" was inspired by the observation of market stalls environment. It is looking for dynamic of people and the environment in a variety of combinations of random objects. Therefore, the artwork extends the concept of "form determines demand", it converts the balance of lighting design and sculpture form. The artist constructs by grafting various life objects. He described it as a "restraint" in the process, in order to turn the past habits of creative techniques into simple touch experience. These lights placed in the market ladder platform, the atmosphere of mutual reflection of light makes the surrounding space also change the existing property, fixtures placed in the platform but also implied social distance from people under the pandemic era.
